The Power Of Three

The MVM collaborated with two musicians we dearly admire to create our Third Symphony

Jeff Goulet sent us five guitar improvisations

Entresol sent us numerous stems from their discography

We notated all of these pieces into themes for different instruments and sections of our orchestra. And then set to work arranging and tweaking and composing. A year (and a half?) later the scores were delivered to the virtual musicians by conductor Una Persson, who led a blistering performance of the piece inside of an abandoned wood mill in the burned out ruins of Southern Oregon. The Taylor Swift, Girl Detective Mobile Recording Unit was on hand to capture this recording for you. The original source materials from Entresol and Jeff are featured throughout the composition, integral parts of its fabric.
