We have been working on an opera, Kestrel, for 5 years. The libretto has hung us up for the last 1 1/2 years.

This symphony was born of Kestrel, as a way to make sense of the material. It is 7 Movements, crafted primarily from field recordings. It also uses samples, midi instruments, and a Kaoss 2.

Guitar parts were composed and played by Jeff Goulet and Aaron Covarrubias.
Piano and organ were improvised and performed by D Bayne.
Cymbal was performed by !N!

It takes the backing for Kestrel, and rearranges the music to follow the principles/rules of classical symphonic layout/design/composition. The first movement is a sonata. It is followed by an adagio. And so on.
