Introitus 04:32
Requiem æternam dona eis, Mater: et lux perpetua luceat eis. Te decet hymnus, Mater, in Sol, et tibi reddetur votum in via lactea: exaudi orationem meam, ad te omnis caro veniet. Requiem æternam dona eis, Mater: et lux perpetua luceat eis. Eternal rest give unto them, O Mother, and let perpetual light shine upon them. A hymn, O Mother, becometh Thee in Sol; and a vow shall be paid to Thee in the Milky Way: hear my prayer; all flesh shall come to Thee. Eternal rest give unto them, O Mother, and let perpetual light shine upon them.

Mater, eleison. Terra, eleison. Mater, eleison. Mother, have mercy. Earth, have mercy. Homo Hubris, have mercy.

Graduale 04:00
Requiem æternam dona eis, Mater: et lux perpetua luceat eis. In memoria æterna erit planeta: nemo auditione mala non timebit. Eternal rest give unto them, O Mother; and let perpetual light shine upon them. The planet shall be in everlasting remembrance; he shall not fear the evil hearing.

Tractus 04:32
Absolve, Mater, animas omnium quæ habitabat defunctorum ab omni vinculo cogitatio. Obliuione sempiterna timorem eripe. Absolve, O Mother, the souls of all the living things departed from every bond of thought. And by the help of Thy time may they be enabled to escape the memories of their own transgressions. And escape the terror of everlasting forgetfulness.

Dies Irae 09:04
Liber scriptus proferetur, In quo totum continetur, Unde mundus cantabitur. nemo tollet a iudice scamnum Nihil est occultatum, praecepta superbiae tantum Quid sum miser tunc dicturus? Quem patronum rogaturus, Cum vix justus sit securus? Rex tremendae majestatis reges Vos scitis nulla salus Nihil est sale me, fons pietatis. Amen. This day, this day of wrath shall consume the world in ashes, as foretold by David and the Sibyl. What trembling there will be Whenever there are conscious minds to perceive, they cannot but help to weigh everything strictly! The trumpet, scattering its awful sound Across the graves of all lands Summons all into the ground. Death and nature shall not be stunned When no passed life arises only new life arises. The written book shall be brought In which all is contained Whereby the world shall be sung No judge to take the bench Nothing is hidden; Only the rules of pride. What shall I, a wretch, say then? To which protector shall I appeal When even the just man is barely safe? Kings of awful majesty You know there is no salvation None to save me, found of pity. Remember, gentle Mother There is no reason for my time on earth, We are forever cast out every day Seeding me, you sank down wearily, you are home and graveyard, all the life we will ever know Silent night, Quiet skies, always watched never watching Judgement? No. Only madness I groan as one guilty, my face blushes with guilt; But still there are none to judge In the face of eternity in the face of emptiness where do we turn for faith My prayers are not heard, but then why should they be, for didn't I enjoy the everlasting flame, Give me a place among the sheep, do not separate me from the goats, let me be one with the bacteria upon my hand. When the Mother is damned and confounded and consigned to keen flames, Let me feel not a god. I pray, suppliant and kneeling, a heart as contrite as ashes; Let change be my strength. That day is one of weeping, on which shall rise again from the ashes the guilty man, to be judged. Therefore spare this Earth, O Man, merciful Mother: Hear our repentance. Amen.

Offertorium 05:36
They Who Should Not Be Named, outside time and space, Let them never remember us For their notice is the pains of hell and the bottomless pit: hide life from the multitude eyes, that our own minds swallow them not up, that they fall not into darkness, but let the only known home of life, Mother Earth Remain in light: which coalesced of dust to become a laboratory and home. We offer to Thee, Mother, sacrifices and prayers: do Thou receive them in behalf of those souls of whom we make memorial this day. Grant them, Mother, to pass from death to that life, Born and reborn for as long as time shall exist.

Sanctus 15:44
Sanctus, Sanctus, Sanctus Mater Terra. Pleni Sol et Via Lactea gloria tua. Hosanna in excelsis. Benedictus qui venit in nomine Mater Terra. Hosanna in excelsis. Holy, holy, holy, Mother Earth. Sol System and the Milky Way are full of Thy glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is He Who cometh in the Name of Mother Earth. Hosanna in the highest.

Agnus Dei 09:04
Mother of all life, Who knows not the sin of her children, grant them rest. Mother of all life, Who knows not the sin of her children, grant them rest. Mother of all life, Who knows not the sin of her children, grant them eternal rest.

Title: Requiem For (demo, no vox, virtual instruments)

Requiem For was written for the Eugene Difficult Music Ensemble: oboe, trumpet, piano, synth, & percussion. In this demo all of the instruments are virtual. In the New Mix there is a single virtual choir. In the earlier mix (tracks 10-19) there are two virtual choirs, one in each channel.

The opening melody, the first 40 seconds, which is revisited throughout, is climate data from the last 150 years mapped into midi. It moves from the low end of a synth to the low end of the piano, across the keyboard and through the oboe and trumpet ranges, and ends with the high range of the glockenspiel. To hear the full set of data all 5 instruments are necessary, though the piano is almost able to hit every note except the outliers of cold, which only the synth can hit, and the last few years of heat, which only the glockenspiel and synth can play.
There are lots of other references in it, of course. I wrote it as a Requiem for my mom, who is in hospice; the Cenozoic Era, as I think it is likely that the Anthropocene/6th extinction will be recognized as the boundary of a new Era; and the post-war aberration of modern humanity. Three Requiems in one!
